Peru Trip Updates

The Good Samaritan Ministry

We did not expect this. We haven’t seen opportunities like this, but God certainly placed this in our path. One of our Team Peru members saw him, Cesar was his name. He was needy in many ways to say the least. No shoes, no food or water, and lost. Our team started hustling to help this man. Someone gave him some shoes, someone shared Christ and Cesar joyfully, thankfully received Jesus. This was indeed a teary eyed experience. Then someone got him some food and water. Team Peru did not want to leave him. A precious relationship was established. The feeling of some was how can we leave this man while he was still in a “needy”state? Prayers were lifted up for Cesar that someone would come along, no, that God would send someone that would help him along even more. As we drove away we looked and saw someone helping Cesar. Maybe an angel from God. Maybe another Good Samaritan. One thing for sure, Cesar was burned in our memories. We will never see a needy person again and walk away without helping in some way. Thank You Lord for this life lesson.
