it was a great day again. Started off with a good breakfast, donuts, cereal, fruit, orange juice. Then headed for Pacayzapa. Who and what and where is Pacayzapa? Well God knows. He led us there and sowed with gusto! Seems like He’s been doing that a lot lately. Natalie said that there are 250-300 salvations. WOW! Can I say that again? WOW! God is so working through His people. Again, thanks for the prayers.
We have had another amazing day here in Peru! The weather is far better here than it is in Oklahoma or Texas. The students have all been healthy, with spirits high and they never waiver in all of the work they are doing; they love sharing the Gospel and never hesitate to do so. They have played soccer, football, and duck duck goose with the children, while some have made things with pipe cleaners with them. The students love worshiping & leading the lost to Christ. Yesterday we traveled about one hour and a half hours away to a school and church to do the drama and additional ministry all afternoon. We saw lots of salvations and the church there in Pueblo Libre fed us a delicious meal of chicken and rice before we left.
We were sorry to see Tito leave on Monday, Before he left, he shared a few words of encouragement with the team. He carries a powerful force while here with us. He has been wonderful to work with, along with Marco and Ana. We all wish Tito well. Please continue praying for him and his family. Please continue to pray for us as we minister to the people of Peru! The Peru team is doing well, busy with lots of Jesus Ministry all over the city! They have drawn crowds of 200+ people to watch the drama; their faithfulness is rewarded with many, many salvations! Praise God! We will have stories up soon, but for now, enjoy these pictures!
Team Peru has made it to Moyobamba! The picture above was taken after flying from Lima to Tarapoto after which we rode a bus to our current ministry city of Moyobamba. We are all happy and healthy and are looking forward to resting and spending time together as a team in the morning before “officially” starting ministry tomorrow afternoon.
This evening we went out to dinner and walked to a plaza to prayer walk where the team was able to lead SIX people to Christ already! We are all so excited to see how God continues to open doors for our team to share the Gospel and to share His love in Peru. We could not be prouder of our team and how well they traveled the last 36 hours, and then shared the gospel! Please continue to pray for good health, rest, for doors to continue to open to share the gospel for our team, and for all of the people we come into contact with.
