Day 2: Absolute Truth, Salvation and Identifying Strongholds
Awe Star is a missions organization, but is also all about discipleship. How do we effectively share the Gospel but also how do equip our students to follow Jesus for the rest of their lives?
In the midst of training, our students were intentionally discipled. This is done through our M.O.M. and P.O.P. time, team time and large group teaching. (MOM: Ministry of Multiplication; POP: Passing on Priciples)
One of the highlights we want students to walk away with is this absolute truth: not only is God good but He is also faithful and we can trust in Him.
In a world that communicates the opposite, God must be our absolute truth, our foundation and our refuge.
Would you pray that our students will grasp this and as they see the hand of God move, they would know He is faithful regardless of our circumstances?
As the day comes closer to our departure to The Gambia, Eastern Europe, and Panama, the anticipation continues to climb. The students have done well learning the drama and training for ministry.
Please pray for our last day of training. Pray for continued team unity and focus!
Thank you for standing in the gap through prayer!

Day 1
"Instant family." Spoken by a student of her first experience stepping on the grounds of Awe Star University to begin an incredible journey. This is what we are praying: that our team would grow in unity and they would grow in their faith.
After a day of welcoming students from across the country yesterday, the teams settled in and spent time together getting to know one another and worshiping.
This morning, the students were taught how to S.H.A.R.R.E. the Gospel and E.N.G.A.G.E. the audience when presenting the Gospel. They are meant to give our students tangible tools to use on the field.
Team Panama and Team Eastern Europe spent the afternoon training the Freedom drama. This provided a great opportunity to bond as a team as they did such a great job for their first day in training.
Team Gambia is being trained in chronological Bible storying through the "story cloth". They will use these stories to present stories from the Old Testament and the New Testament while they do the medical clinics.
Tonight was an incredible night of worship as Peggy challenged us to have a biblical worldview. Our students have come into this week with one of three world views: blinded worldview, a compromised worldview and a biblical worldview. Pray as we seek the Lord our students would walk away with a biblical worldview.
Pray that we would get a good nights rest as we look forward to another day of worship, teaching and training. Our students have done incredible today!
Would you pray this with us also that our love would be so strong that people will know we are His disciples.
”I give you a new command: Love one another. Just as I have loved you, you are also to love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” John 13:34, 35
