Bourbon Street—12 blocks in the heart of New Orleans’ French Quarter—buzzes with strip clubs, bars, neon lights, psychic readings, and music so loud it drowns the cries of the hopeless. Every weekend, 50,000 people flood these streets looking for an experience. But what if that experience became an encounter with Jesus? Now imagine God using your marriage to pierce this darkness. This is not a typical mission trip—it’s a Retreat + Mission! Where the altar of your covenant meets the streets of New Orleans.

In-depth Discipleship & Evangelism Training: Transform your marriage through life-changing teaching designed to strengthen your covenant, enhance spiritual unity, and equip you for ministry as a couple. All training materials are included. Retreat + Mission Experience: This unique retreat blends time for worship and training with hands-on evangelism in one of the most spiritually dark places in America—Bourbon Street. You’ll learn to minister together, both to the Lord and to those in need. Shared Ministry Opportunities: • Prayer Eating – Growing spiritually over shared mealtimes • Street Worship & Personal Evangelism – Boldly proclaiming hope together • Ministry to Each Other & to the Lord – Strengthening your bond through mutual ministry Practical Supplies & Support: Includes a branded T-shirt, all necessary ministry materials, lunch and breakfast each day to sustain you through your mission efforts. Comfortable Lodging: Stay together in a local hotel where you can rest, process, and grow closer in a safe, inviting environment. Additional Details: Complementary to Your Journey, Dinners and snacks are on your own—giving you the freedom to explore, connect on a date night, and rekindle that one on one time. What’s Not Included: Please note that airfare, baggage costs, travel meals, dinners in New Orleans, snacks, and transportation are not part of the package. ( however you do not need to rent a vehicle- Once your at the hotel, we will get you to wherever needed for dinner and ministry. To make the most of this experience, here’s what we ask of each team: 💍 Legally Married & Healthy This retreat + mission is for couples who are already walking in a strong, committed marriage. It’s not about fixing what’s broken, but about deepening what God has already built. ❤️ Walking in Unity Husband and wife should be committed to one another, pursuing growth together, and willing to let the Lord take their marriage even deeper. ✝️ Fully Committed to Jesus Both husband and wife must have a personal relationship with Christ, be rooted in Scripture, and actively connected to their local church. 🔥 Ready to Grow & Be Challenged This mission will stretch you! Couples should be willing to step beyond comfort zones, embrace new ministry experiences, and allow the Lord to grow their faith. 📝 Marriage Mission Readiness Assessment Before being accepted, each couple will complete a short assessment to ensure you are prepared and positioned for all God desires to do through your marriage on this mission. |

Trip Deadlines: Jan 6, 2026 – 25% of trip cost + initial paperwork due Jan 14, 2026 – 50% of trip cost due Jan 28, 2026 – 75% of trip cost due Feb 11, 2026 – 100% of trip cost + final paperwork due Team Gathering Feb 19, 2026 – Team Zoom call (details sent by email) Travel Details ✈️ Arrival: Thursday, Feb 26, 2026 (3–5 PM) 🏠 Departure: Sunday, Mar 1, 2026 📍 Airport: Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY) 👉 Each couple is responsible for arranging their own travel. “On the Marriage on Mission retreat, you’ll be equipped with discipleship and evangelism training, practical ministry tools—including a T-shirt and supplies—and shared meals and lodging designed for spiritual connection. Together, you’ll worship, pray, and bring the light of Christ to Bourbon Street, all while strengthening your marriage and discovering how your covenant can be a powerful testimony.” This trip is specially created for couples who long to deepen their marriage and grow together in Christ. It is not a retreat for crisis intervention or marriage repair, but rather a powerful opportunity for healthy couples to strengthen their bond and discover new ways to serve the Lord side by side. Throughout the journey, you’ll enjoy intentional times of encouragement, ministry to one another, and practical equipping to step into ministry together. Cancelation Policy: Cancellations made within 30 days of the trip departure are non-refundable. For cancellations made more than 30 days prior to departure, funds may be applied toward a future trip within the organization in the same year as the original trip dates.
