While the rest of the city comes alive during the Mardi Gras season, Bourbon Street is a party any time of year. The 12 blocks are filled with strip clubs and bars making darkness tangible and hopelessness evident. Ministry on Bourbon Street is not for the faint of heart. This street is possibly one of the darkest intersections of chaos and spirituality in all of America. It literally attracts an average of 50,000 people on a non-event weekend, just to experience the famous bars and strip clubs. From cajun food to psychic readings the neon lights flash as loud music drowns out the hopelessness and desperation of thousands as they go from bar to club, just to experience the “Big Easy.” Peoples from every nation flock to this street, for an experiences. Imagine redefining this experience to an encounter with Jesus. Imagine God using your story to push back darkness and shine the light of hope in a dungeon of hopelessness. God is looking for bold believers who will dare to demand Christ receive His glory where satan has hijacked a city, that rightfully belongs to Christ. Join us as we partner with the local church of New Orleans in taking back a French quarter of their city for Christ!

Trip cost and dates are subject to change due to circumstances beyond the control of Awe Star Missions.
*Airfare: Because of changing flights & costs, Awe Star is asking you to book your own travel to New Orleans and the staff will meet you at the New Orleans airport ( Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport) to pick you up. Please arrive on Thursday, ( 1/23/25) between 3-5pm. * If you arrive earlier /later you must provide transport from the airport to lodging. Depart on Monday (1/27/25) After 8am and before 2pm. * If you depart earlier/later you must provide transport from the lodging to airport. *Money raised for airfare and checked baggage through managed missions ( above trip cost) can be reimbursed, if personally purchased and a receipt, specific to those items, is submitted after the trip is complete (within 7 days of returning home). If you need assistance booking your air travel, please let us know. Please be advised baggage is an additional cost on most flights.
** This trip is designed for those women in active leadership in ministry. This trip will include dedicated time on ministering to & equipping leaders in ministry.
Awe Star Trip cost includes:
Discipleship/ Evangelism Training & Materials, T-shirt, Ministry Supplies/ Costs, Transportation, Meals (3/day), lodging ( Lodging is at a local hotel and cost is based on *4 ppl to a room), If you prefer more privacy and comfort, you can book a single or double room in the hotel but this will be at an additional cost and limited to availability)- Please let us know when signing up.
Not included: Airfare, Baggage, Meals during travel to/from New Orleans, Cover fees for Club Ministry, Snacks, Spa/Nails costs for ministry, tips for Prayer Eating, or additional costs for any tourism.

Must be 18 years or older
Must be a leader or aspiring leader in the local church or similar ministry
Must submit two credible references that can attest to your current spiritual growth and leadership development or potential.
Every Team Member must submit an application & pay the $95 non refundable application fee
Every Team Member must pass a post application interview to be eligible to participate in the Mission
