Conference Information

1.  What is iGO?

iGO is the yearly Global Missions conference for Awe Star Ministries. It is a time where we gather as alumni, parents, friends and brothers and sisters in Christ to see again God’s heartbeat for the world and the role missions plays in that. iGO is a time of celebration for the things God is doing all over the globe and it is also a time of intense fellowship, worship and teaching. In addition, there are corporate times and breakout sessions that allow for real growth and learning to take place.

2. Who can come to iGO?

YOU! 
While we have many Awe Star alumni who will gather at iGO, we know that many others desire to be a part of this Global Missions conference. Please join us - and bring a friend, family member, or an entire youth group! You don’t want to miss this weekend! 

Awe Star would like to invite all parents to attend the conference at no charge, however if parents would like to eat meals, order the iGo t-shirt, or have any other conference material, feel free to purchase those.  If parents would like to ensure the correct size and availability of the iGo t-shirt, please contact our office to place your order.

5. How much does it cost and what does that include?

The cost for this year’s iGO is $55 per person and includes your official iGO T-shirt, all conference materials, meals and lodging for the weekend. If you would like to bring your entire youth group, please have your youth pastor call 1-800-AWE-STAR for group rates. Parents may attend the conference at no cost. However, if parents want to eat meals at the conference location the cost will be $5 per meal.

6. What do I need to bring?

If you are staying at the church, bring your sleeping bag and any toiletries you may need. Bring a change of clothes and your Bible. You may want a notebook and a pen as well. We feed you and will also have snacks in-between meals, so you are covered there.

7. Where will I be staying at IGO?

South Tulsa Baptist Church will be hosting the iGO 2010 weekend  this year. They have graciously opened their facilities for the conference, breakout sessions, and lodging for all our attendees. Your $55 registration fee includes use of these facilities and meals while you attend the iGO conference. We will be staying in the rooms the church typically uses for their Sunday School classes. Separate sleeping and shower accommodations for the girls and guys, as well as an area where you can gather together, will be available.  Bring your sleeping bags and pillows!

9. What are the times of iGO?

Registration opens at 6 pm on Friday, November 5th. The conference will kick off at 7 pm, and finish on Sunday, November 7th at 12 noon.

10. What if I am flying to iGO?

No problem! We will come pick you up at the airport if you need us to. Just be sure to schedule your flights to arrive on Friday, November 5th between 2:00-5:30 pm and depart Sunday, November 7th  from 1:30-4 pm.

11. Can I bring a friend to iGO?

Absolutely! In fact, we want you to bring as many friends as possible!

12. Who has to register for iGO?

Everyone. This will help us know who is coming and how to plan. Also it allows us to get your right T-shirt size and know when to pick people up at the airport. Generally, it’s just a great organizational tool that keeps us from going insane iGO weekend.  Even if you will not be staying at the church or eating meals with us, we still ask that you register.

15. Will I have time to visit with my alumni friends?

Absolutely! More than a missions conference , iGO is a reunion for Awe Star alumni that have served all over the world in the past 17 years. This is a great place to catch up with your friends, MOMs and POPs, TDs and CCs, basically everyone that God used in your life this past summer or whenever. There is plenty of time to revive those friendships and strengthen those bonds at iGO.
