Tuesday we wrote that we were going to try to go to the Presidential Palace and do the drama. It became late in the day, so we decided to go the next day. We finished out our day on Tuesday having spoken with some fellow believers, some people who we got to plant seeds in, and some men from the States who claimed to be agnostic. Those men could not understand how we got to talk about Jesus in the public schools here and didn’t really understand why we were here sharing our faith. So one ministry team explained to them why we were here and got to plant seeds in these men. We finished out our day in the city and took the subway, to the public bus, to our seminary where we are staying. Yesterday we woke up and spent some time in a teaching together before we went out into the city. Our team is learning that to follow Christ, we can’t put anything before Him, we must lay it all down at his feet. Such growth is happening in the lives of your students.
We started our day yesterday at the Presidential Palace. We walked to the back area of the Palace to see about doing the drama there, and it was barricaded off. So, we talked to some guards and went into the art museum to take in the real culture of Chile, while prayerwalking around. Part of ministering in another culture is learning the culture so well so that it can be used as a tool in ministry. After the museum, we walked to the front of the Palace and Ken spoke with the police guards that were outside. He even asked if the President was there and if she wanted to see our drama. Turns out that she was busy, and couldn’t make it, but they were seeing if it was okay to perform outside the Palace on the grass. The guards were very kind and did everything they could, but apologetically said that we couldn’t do it there because of the President meeting with people from other countries this week. But they did say that we could do it all we wanted in the Plaza de Armes. So, the moral of the story is, the Lord allowed us to pray in front of the Presidential Palace, and every footstep we take is another step for Jesus, even if we don’t do the drama. . . it’s just a tool for ministry. Jesus walked all over the Palace grounds yesterday.  Our disappointment is God’s divine appointment!
We walked to the Plaza de Armes, set our stage, and shared the gospel.  After the third time of doing the drama there, a lady came over to one of our ministry teams.  She said, “I could tell something is different about you guys. I can see that your love for one another is so strong.”  She talked about how she meets people in the churches there, and they seem so fake, and how this difference in us was real. Praise the Lord that He is all over us, that others can see! No language barrier there, just the love of Jesus!
We had an awesome time of worship and fellowshipped in the Lord last night, and woke this morning, ate breakfast (cereal and yogurt), and then looked up verses together.  Our hearts are connected more than ever through Jesus.  Thank you for praying unity over us. We are truly unified together in Jesus, and really are going to miss each other when this trip is over.
Please pray that as we finish out our final days of ministry, that our focus would be strong, we would continue to be unified together, and that divine encounters would come even more! And please continue to pray for strong good health in us.
blessed, and loving what the Lord is doing…
